Hi
How do I create a custom protocol with a port range? Is the max port 49151?

Re: Protocols & Ports
Hi,
If my understanding is correct you want to modify default ports used by CacheGuard using the port command. In this case only a single port can be affected to a given CG internal service (such as the forwarding proxy or the Web administration port). And yes, according to the RFC7605 (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7605) the highest assigned port number is 49151. CG respects that RFC.
However when you define firewall rules you can define a port rang using the following notation: <begin-port>:<end-port> instead of a single port.
Best Regards,
